Updates and New Covers

Some long overdue Isabo Kelly updates!

First, I'm finally moving Isabo books over to my other pseudonym's store. KatSimonsBooks will not only carry all things Kat, it will carry all things Isabo, too, now! And Isabo even has her own link and section of the store. LOL. So if you'd like to buy direct from the author, head on over and check it out. KatSimonsBooks.com

And to launch this new venture, the first books landing at the store are my epic fantasy romance Fire and Tears series with ALL NEW COVERS!!

They are so pretty. For anyone new to the series, these are extremely sexy epic fantasy romances that could be considered part of the romantasy subgenre. But they're all in third person, no first person POVs. They are also very sexy. Just so you're aware of what you're getting into. There's also a lot of enemies to lovers and second chance tropes throughout. And DAWN IGNITED has one of my all time favorite heroes that I've ever written because he was such an asshole to start and it was great fun redeeming him. *grin*

As well as the new covers, the interiors of the books have all be reformatted and updated. The print editions, which I'm still rolling out, will have some extra design elements inside, a little fancier than the old versions, and with the all new covers.

You can buy each book individually, or if you'd rather have them all together, you can buy the omnibus edition, Fire and Tears, Series Collection Books 1-3. This is a good time to pick up the omnibus, too, if that's your preference, because through the first week of December, this edition is on sale for only $1.99 everywhere! And the print editions, while not on sale, do have lovely new interiors too. So if you like your epic fantasy romance a little on the fancy side, the paperback is for you!

These special print editions will be available everywhere soon, including through KatSimonsBooks, and the updated eBooks are available everywhere now.

Over the next few months, I'll be slowly moving Isabo Kelly books over to the store, so keep checking back. And if you like my Isabo Kelly fiction, I think you'll enjoy Kat Simons' fiction, too. *grin*

In addition to moving my books over to the store, I'll also be putting together my three stories from the New York Empires hockey romance series into their own special edition eBook (and maybe print edition?) which will only be available from the store. These stories were meant to be part of the collections they were in, their stories intertwining in greater or lesser degrees with the other stories in the anthologies. But they are also linked to each other. So this gives readers a choice in how to enjoy the various stories. Which I hope you will!

More on all the updates and new changes coming this way soon. Oh, and if you'd like to keep up on what I'm doing, at the moment, this is the best place to do that (my Isabo Kelly newsletter doesn't go out much). But in the not too distant future, I'll be adding Isabo updates to the store's emails, so those will also be useful to follow.

Until the next update, happy reading!

Getting Some More Books Re-Released!

And Even More Re-Releases Are Finally Out!

Thief's Desire and Destiny's Seduction have print editions out now! Yay! They are still moving out into all the distributions sites, but here are the links I have for them now (check back as I'll update as more come in).

THIEF'S DESIRE (print edition) available from: Amazon | Barnes & Noble

DESTINY'S SEDUCTION (print edition) available now from: Barnes & Noble

I've also managed to get out four more of my back list.

My erotic Halloween novella BONFIRE NIGHT is now available (in ebook) from:

Amazon | Kobo | iBooks | BN Nook | Smashwords.

This one was out in time for Halloween, but October got away from me, so I'm posting this a bit late. But now it'll be there ready for anytime you need a sexy Halloween read.

Additionally, I got the entire Fire and Tears series re-released (in ebook) in October. Books 2 and 3 have new titles--The Darkness of Glengowyn is NOW Darkness Singed. Warrior's Dawn is NOW Dawn Ignited. I haven't actually changed anything in the books (except for some typos) from their original releases, so if you've bought the originally published versions, you don't need to re-purchase these versions. If you haven't taken a look at this sexy fantasy romance series, you might want to give them a try.

BRIGHTARROW BURNING (Fire and Tears 1): Amazon | Kobo | iBooks | BN Nook | Smashwords

DARKNESS SINGED (Fire and Tears 2): Amazon | Kobo | iBooks | BN Nook | Smashwords

DAWN IGNITED (Fire and Tears 3): Amazon | Kobo | iBooks | BN Nook | Smashwords

The Fire and Tears series will be released in print as well, but I might not be able to get that finalized until the new year--hopefully January. I'll post updates when the print editions are out. I may also go ahead and do a print version of Bonfire Night as well. I'll update that here too when it happens.

For the two Christmas stories in my backlist, I'm not sure I'll have time to get them out this month. But I will update here when I've got them ready.

And for NEW RELEASE updates, I'll be starting the editing process with my fellow authors for the next New York Empires Hockey series in January! I'll also be working on getting The Naravan Chronicles out in 2018--including a NEW BOOK in the series!

Keep checking back for updates on all the backlist and new book releases. You can also sign up at my newsletter to get the information directly into your inbox.

Happy Winter, everyone! And happy reading!
~Isabo

As Promised...Re-RELEASES!!!

It's true! I'm finally getting my backlist sorted and making it available again--refreshed with all new covers and updated blurbs. For the most part, the actually books are the same as the previously published versions, just with some typos fixed here and there. So if you already own copies of these books, you don't need to buy the updated versions.

The process of getting the backlist re-released will take some time, but at least the process has begun. (Thank you Pre-K for providing my youngest a place to be for several hours a day so I can work *grin*). I'm making my way through the ebook copies first, but print copies of almost everything will follow. And if you'd like up to date information about the new releases, you can join my newsletter. It will be an erratic, sent out only when I have news, kind of newsletter (and if I have a lot of news, only once a month) so as not to clutter your already busy inboxes.

It seems fitting that to begin the process of re-releasing backlist, I start with two of my earliest books. Thief's Desire and Destiny's Seduction. For the first time in their more than 15 year history of publication, they actually have complimentary covers now too! That part is still pretty exciting to me.

Thief's Desire (Fate's Hand, Book 1)
Amazon | iBooks | Kobo | Nook | Smashwords

She’s a thief. He protects the king. They aren’t meant to be together. Then Fate comes calling…

Available September 28, 2017

Destiny's Seduction (Fate's Hand, Book 2)
Amazon | iBooks | Kobo | Nook | Smashwords

She holds the fate of the world in the palm of her hand. He has to protect her, whether he likes it or not. And love is their only chance…

Available September 29, 2017

If all goes to plan, the next release will be my super sexy paranormal romance, Bonfire Night, just in time for October and Halloween! The ebook will be available on October 6th. Again with print to follow when I can.

After that, look for the Fire&Tears series to come out, hopefully in October. More new covers and I have new titles for the last two books in the series--I'm doing a number of title changes for the backlist, so be sure to check the blurbs to see if you own the books already! And remember, most ebook retailers will take returns if you discover you do own a book already.

If I can manage it, I'll get the two Christmas-themed stories I have up in November in time for Christmas. Then look for the re-release of The Naravan Chronicles in 2018. For that series, I'll also have a NEW RELEASE to cap off the re-releases! So that'll be fun. All of The Naravan Chronicles books have had their titles changed, simplified really, but I'll be sure to remind everyone of that when the releases start happening.

And finally, I am working on another New York Empires anthology with Stacey Agdern and Kenzie MacLir. Be sure to check back for updates on that. (or again, you could join my newsletter--which I promise will not spam your inbox!)

Happy Fall Everyone! I hope it's full of good reads and a few peaceful moments here and there. (Which I think we all need right now!)

Update on all the Out of Print stuff!

As you might have noticed a LOT of my stuff is out of print at the moment. I officially got every single story I previously had with a publisher back this year (along with all the books I got the rights back to in previous years). So they'll all be coming out again soon! I just have to make my way through the backlist.

If you'd like immediate updates on the new releases and reissues, I've finally set up a newsletter. This will be one of those randomly sent newsletters that you get when I have actual news to announce, so you won't be inundated. Even if I have a lot of news, I'll consolidate it into no more than one mailing a month. This mailing list is still in it's infancy, so welcome if you decide to receive it!

As for the reissues, the first two books coming out will be THIEF'S DESIRE and DESTINY'S SEDUCTION! And they finally have covers that match! I'm very excited about that. Here they are in a little sneaky reveal:

Aren't they pretty?! Once I get the books copyedited and formatted, those two will be released in ebook and print. Check back for updates (or sign up for my newsletter).

After that, I'll be reissuing THE NARAVAN CHRONICLES series. They're getting updated covers now and will have shortened (and easier to remember!) titles. And I'll finally be getting the next book in that series finished and released--that's a new one for readers, never been out before. So not only will you have the previous four published stories to read, you'll get a new one in this world, too! (Hopefully by the end of the year).

I'll work on getting the FIRE AND TEARS books out at around the same time I'm reissuing The Naravan Chronicles. They mostly just need new cover art, proofing, and reformatting.

Once those major series books are out, I'll start in on the other single stories. Most of this should be happening in 2018. I'm considering writing the sequel to Marshall's Guard finally, so I'll probably reissue that book with the sequel to follow. And I'd like to expand Siren Singing into a series (it was always meant to be one) so watch this space for more on that.

In the meantime, I'm still putting out new paranormal romances under my other pseudonym--Kat Simons. The 8th book in her Tiger Shifters series came out in January 2017 and the next book will be coming out May/June 2017. Pop over to Kat's website for more information.

In the meantime, hope everyone is enjoying their spring!
Happy Reading!

NOTE: Just a little update--for the moment Thief's Desire, Destiny's Seduction, Marshall's Guard, and Faery Song/Lady of the Herd are all out of print. I am working on getting the rights back to Siren Singing, Bonfire Night, and Chirstmas Help Her too. Once I have the rights back to all these books, I'll update you on when and where they'll be re-released. Thanks for your patience! And in the meantime...

WARRIOR'S DAWN, Fire and Tears #3, OUT NOW!

For a little taste of the book, here's an excerpt! The book is available at Samhain Publishing, Amazon, B&N, Kobo, and iBookstore.

For a chance at love, he may have to offer up his last drop of blood.

Branded a traitor, Althir of Glengowyn has resigned himself to life as outcast from his own people—until he’s offered a chance at redemption. A suicide mission to retrieve a vessel bearing the ultimate weapon: the Sorcerers’ true names.

His companion on the journey is a human woman unlike any he’s ever encountered. Beautiful. Brave. Fascinating. And before he knows it, keeping her safe is more important than his own salvation.

Mina Dawnswealth’s talent for spycraft has kept her alive even as her dreams—and her family—have fallen victim to the war, one by one. Much as she hates the idea of helping the traitor elf, at least she gets the pleasure of burying a knife in his back should he decide to betray her people again. A much easier task if she didn’t find him so compelling.

Only when they’re beyond the point of no return do they discover just how much blood their mission will cost. And how much love it will take to overcome their pasts—if they survive.

Warning: Contains an arrogant ass of an elf hero and a human heroine with a bitter past who would like nothing better than to kill him. Danger, fighting, hard language, magical mayhem, deadly Sorcerers and hot sex fueled by an addictive pheromone. Can we get a “Hell, yeah”?

Release Day Approaches!!

The big day is coming fast! The release of THE DARKNESS OF GLENGOWYN is just weeks away (April 29th!). I'm so excited for you all to read this second book in the Fire and Tears series. I think you'll like Einar and Nuala *g*

The book is available for preorder now at Amazon, Samhain Publishing, B&N, and Kobo (that I know of). To celebrate the upcoming release, I'm posting a little excerpt over on my blog. Enjoy!

If you're new to the series, the first Fire and Tears book is BRIGHTARROW BURNING. The second book can stand alone, but you might enjoy it all more if you try the first book first.

And also as a little celebration, the third book in the Fire and Tears series, WARRIOR'S DAWN, is now up for preorder! Because it's out there already, how about I do a little cover reveal? Drum roll, please......

Here it is!

Pretty, isn't it? The cover artist is doing such a fabulous job on this series, I can't thank her enough for the beautiful art.

This third book is about Althir--Ulric from BRIGHTARROW BURNING's rotten brother. I have to tell you guys, he was soooo much fun to write! He's such an ass, but a sexy, fun ass. LOL. I can't wait for you to read his story. And so you know, his heroine, Mina, is well able for him. This book is due out July 29, 2014, so you don't have to wait too long. But around May/June, I'll post a teaser excerpt so you can get a...taste of Althir? *g*

In the meantime, I hope you'll pick up a copy of THE DARKNESS OF GLENGOWYN (seriously, Einar is super yummy!).

Happy Reading!

Huzzah! The Domain is Back!

I have the greatest friends in the world. Thank you Kem and Peter for helping me get my domain back up and working properly again!

In the background, we are working on a whole new look for the site and a full site update, but in the meantime, everything will work as it used to.

And to celebrate, I'm going to show off the cover art for my April release! THE DARKNESS OF GLENGOWYN is Book 2 in the Fire and Tears fantasy romance series. Readers of paranormal romance should love this series too as it's got a very gritty, sexy feel to it. And hot elves. Can't forget the hot elves. The first book is BRIGHTARROW BURNING if you want to check that out.

THE DARKNESS OF GLENGOWYN is available for preorder at Amazon and will be released on April 29, 2014. The third book in the series (with my first serious anti-hero--he's so fantastic you will love him!) WARRIOR'S DAWN is due out later in the year. I'll have more on that one as I get exact dates.

So without further ado, here's the beautiful cover art for Book 2...

Pretty, huh? And it goes so well with the BRIGHTARROW cover! I have to thank my brilliant cover artist and Samhain Publishing again for giving me such lovely art for my books.

More on releases and the new site to come!

Happy Reading!
