Warrior's Dawn is NOW Dawn Ignited. I haven't actually changed anything in the books (except for some typos) from their original releases, so if you've bought the originally published versions, you don't need to re-purchase these versions. If you haven't taken a look at this sexy fantasy romance series, you might want to give them a try.

For the two Christmas stories in my backlist, I'm not sure I'll have time to get them out this month. But I will update here when I've got them ready.

And for NEW RELEASE updates, I'll be starting the editing process with my fellow authors for the next New York Empires Hockey series in January! I'll also be working on getting The Naravan Chronicles out in 2018--including a NEW BOOK in the series!

As Promised...Re-RELEASES!!!

It's true! I'm finally getting my backlist sorted and making it available again--refreshed with all new covers and updated blurbs. For the most part, the actually books are the same as the previously published versions, just with some typos fixed here and there. So if you already own copies of these books, you don't need to buy the updated versions.

The process of getting the backlist re-released will take some time, but at least the process has begun. (Thank you Pre-K for providing my youngest a place to be for several hours a day so I can work *grin*). I'm making my way through the ebook copies first, but print copies of almost everything will follow. And if you'd like up to date information about the new releases, you can join my newsletter. It will be an erratic, sent out only when I have news, kind of newsletter (and if I have a lot of news, only once a month) so as not to clutter your already busy inboxes.

It seems fitting that to begin the process of re-releasing backlist, I start with two of my earliest books. Thief's Desire and Destiny's Seduction. For the first time in their more than 15 year history of publication, they actually have complimentary covers now too! That part is still pretty exciting to me.

If all goes to plan, the next release will be my super sexy paranormal romance, Bonfire Night, just in time for October and Halloween! The ebook will be available on October 6th. Again with print to follow when I can.

After that, look for the Fire&Tears series to come out, hopefully in October. More new covers and I have new titles for the last two books in the series--I'm doing a number of title changes for the backlist, so be sure to check the blurbs to see if you own the books already! And remember, most ebook retailers will take returns if you discover you do own a book already.

If I can manage it, I'll get the two Christmas-themed stories I have up in November in time for Christmas. Then look for the re-release of The Naravan Chronicles in 2018. For that series, I'll also have a NEW RELEASE to cap off the re-releases! So that'll be fun. All of The Naravan Chronicles books have had their titles changed, simplified really, but I'll be sure to remind everyone of that when the releases start happening.

And finally, I am working on another New York Empires anthology with Stacey Agdern and Kenzie MacLir. Be sure to check back for updates on that. (or again, you could join my newsletter--which I promise will not spam your inbox!)

Update on all the Out of Print stuff!

As you might have noticed a LOT of my stuff is out of print at the moment. I officially got every single story I previously had with a publisher back this year (along with all the books I got the rights back to in previous years). So they'll all be coming out again soon! I just have to make my way through the backlist.

If you'd like immediate updates on the new releases and reissues, I've finally set up a newsletter. This will be one of those randomly sent newsletters that you get when I have actual news to announce, so you won't be inundated. Even if I have a lot of news, I'll consolidate it into no more than one mailing a month. This mailing list is still in it's infancy, so welcome if you decide to receive it!

As for the reissues, the first two books coming out will be THIEF'S DESIRE and DESTINY'S SEDUCTION! And they finally have covers that match! I'm very excited about that. Here they are in a little sneaky reveal:

 

Aren't they pretty?! Once I get the books copyedited and formatted, those two will be released in ebook and print. Check back for updates (or sign up for my newsletter).

After that, I'll be reissuing THE NARAVAN CHRONICLES series. They're getting updated covers now and will have shortened (and easier to remember!) titles. And I'll finally be getting the next book in that series finished and released--that's a new one for readers, never been out before. So not only will you have the previous four published stories to read, you'll get a new one in this world, too! (Hopefully by the end of the year).

I'll work on getting the FIRE AND TEARS books out at around the same time I'm reissuing The Naravan Chronicles. They mostly just need new cover art, proofing, and reformatting.

Once those major series books are out, I'll start in on the other single stories. Most of this should be happening in 2018. I'm considering writing the sequel to Marshall's Guard finally, so I'll probably reissue that book with the sequel to follow. And I'd like to expand Siren Singing into a series (it was always meant to be one) so watch this space for more on that.

In the meantime, I'm still putting out new paranormal romances under my other pseudonym--Kat Simons. The 8th book in her Tiger Shifters series came out in January 2017 and the next book will be coming out May/June 2017. Pop over to Kat's website for more information.

Spring Update

CONVENTION TIME

Hi all! It's that time of year, and once again I'll be at Romantic Times BOOKLOVERS Convention in Las Vegas this year! I'll be there from April 13 - 16th. You can find me on a science fiction panel: The Dangerous, the Devious and the Irresistible on Thursday (April 14), and as usual at the Intergalactic Bar & Grille party on Friday (April 15). This year, we're giving away a special print anthology exclusive for readers who attend the Bar & Grille, so make sure to get there early--only the first 200 readers will get the anthology!

And of course, I'll be signing at the Giant Book Fair on Saturday (April 16th). I'll have the print WARRIOR'S DAWN (yay!) and...drum roll *g*... I'll have the print edition of one of my other pseudonym's books.

That's right, I actually have another pseudonym. Kat Simons is writing and publishing Paranormal Romance. At the moment, she's up to Book 6 in her bestselling Tiger Shifters paranormal romance series. It'll be book 1, ONCE UPON A TIGER, that I have with me at the signing.

RT is the first time I'll be out and about as both Isabo and Kat so feel free to accost both the me's and ask questions. The book signing is usually open to the public too if you happen to live in Las Vegas, so there's another place to find me. And for convention-goers, the two me's will be at the Saturday evening FAN-TASTIC Day party as well. Find me and say hi!

This story was originally published in SUM3: The 2006 Zircon Anthology of Speculative Romance Fiction, edited by Jody Wallace and was the winner of the 2004 Zircon Award (during it's inaugural year). SUM3 is out of print now, so I wanted to get the story back out for readers.

As many of you may have heard, Samhain Publishing announced they're closing their doors. When this happens, my Samhain books will revert to me, but have no fear, I'll be re-releasing them. Hopefully they won't be out of print for too long. In the meantime, they're all still available from the usual vendors.

Which brings me to my Ellora's Cave stories. I have gotten the rights back for all those books, and I will finally be re-releasing them all this year. I'm starting with THIEF'S DESIRE and DESTINY'S SEDUCTION, but look for all the books over the course of 2016. I'm really excited about the re-releases because for the first time ever THIEF and DESTINY will have series matching covers! In all the years those books have been available, they've never had covers that matched (or often even revealed their genre of fantasy romance very good!). Well, now I'm going to make sure the covers look like series covers. I'm really excited about that.

Keep checking back for updates. I'll try to let you know what's happening as soon as I do (and more regularly than I have been--you can blame Kat for that as she's been occupying a lot of my time *g*).

UPDATE: Out of Print Books-- I've just about got my rights back for a number of books now, but it does mean they're out of print until I can get them republished. They will be rolling out over the course of the next year so keep checking back for the updates.

Huzzah! The Domain is Back!

I have the greatest friends in the world. Thank you Kem and Peter for helping me get my domain back up and working properly again!

In the background, we are working on a whole new look for the site and a full site update, but in the meantime, everything will work as it used to.

More good news for the Fire and Tears fantasy romance series! I've now officially sold the 3rd book in the series to Samhain Publishing. Book 1, BRIGHTARROW BURNING, is out now. Book 2, THE DARKNESS OF GLENGOWYN, will be out April 29, 2014. Currently, we're looking at summer of 2014 for Book 3. Keep checking back for release day updates.

I officially have some very pretty cover art to show off for Book 2, as well, so look for more on THE DARKNESS OF GLENGOWYN come the new year. (tease tease tease *g*)
